Remote Windows shutdown
 Turning
the computer off being far from it is a common task. Many people start Download
Manager in order to retrieve the large files (video clip or new movies) before
leaving a working place. Other people launch a filter in Adobe Photoshop to
render a hi-resolution image. Usually, the computer completes a task in few
hours but then continue to operate, to use electrical current etc.
Why not to shut the computer off? It is not a problem at all if you use Outlook
Remote Access plug-in. To shut the computer down remotely, all you need is to
send an e-mail message to your Windows e-mail client. The computer turns off
immediately.
Outlook Remote Access can
shutdown any program or process remotely too. All you have to do is to send
EndProcess command to terminate any application. To shutdown Windows send Shutdown
command.
